General Feeding Guidelines
Herbie's Surf + Turf (named after Paul and Lynn's dog who has been fresh-fed since he was a puppy) was formulated for both large- and small-breed dogs.
It is intended to be served as a complete meal, however, Herbie's may used as a topper or enhancement to other commercial food as a way to introduce fresh food at a young age.
A young puppy should be fed 3 to 4 times a day to keep up with their high-energy demands. Factors such as age, activity level, and breed all play a part in the feeding quantities of all dogs.
Use the following chart and adjust the feeding quantities as necessary to maintain your pet’s ideal body score. Please consult with your veterinarian about your dog’s ideal body score and how much to feed.
Transition to Herbie’s Surf + Turf Puppy Food gradually by mixing it with your pup’s current food for 7-10 days and adjusting the ounces per day accordingly. Each day, feed more of Herbie’s Surf + Turf and less of your puppy’s current food until he or she is fully adjusted to fresh food.
Always seek the advice of your veterinarian if you have any questions about feeding your puppy.
